SARA ROSEN, a true hero who
cherished life, fairness for all, & a champion of
the world.
Sara, a Toronto Firefighter for 15 years
passed away tragically in
a mountain biking accident on May 12, 2016 at the age of 38.
She had a true zest for life, donating
her kidney to her brother Mark in 2004 at
Toronto General Hospital..... She crusaded strongly for living organ
donations &
organ donors. She was a real advocate for mental health issues, trying to
desensitize the stigma attached to it.
Equity & equality in the work
environment was also at the
forefront of her cherished causes.
Donations that are made to the SARA ROSEN TRIBUTE FUND benefit causes that were dear to Sara: The Toronto General Hospital Kidney Organ Transplant programs, CAMH, & POSITIVE SPACE Initiatives in the workplace.
Sara touched the hearts of all those
around her and her spirit
and causes will continue to grow forever!
